The trucking industry has changed so much over the few decades. From competing with Rail and Ship as one of the biggest forms of goods transports to being by far the most used and most profitable. That comes with downsides though. Lack of trucker comradery, lower wages, more hours – these are all the things that current transport truck drivers face. Changing regulations has made it legal to drive up to 14 hours per day. This is putting pressure on drivers from their companies to drive more, and thus creating more fatigue out on the road. Two drivers spoke with Trucking Nuts and recounted their experiences and what they see on the roads.
